Once again Mnemic has release an album that hooked me from the intense beginning. Since their debut album I truly think this band keeps on progressing in their overall creativity and style of music. I think they have let up a bit and chosen a more melodic path on this release. As with most bands it is a good thing to chance it up a bit when going from album to album. Like on their previous releases their guitar work I would say isn’t the most complex but that doesn’t mean it makes the album simplistic. The vocals have stayed the same as well, with plenty of screams and flowing choruses. The drums on this album are intense and very well executed. Overall this album I would say not their best but a great one none the less. For fans of SYL, Fear Factory, and Society 1.
