Synopsis: Two pretty but ditsy American girls are on a road trip through Europe. In Germany, they end up alone at night with a broken car in the woods. They search for help and find an isolated villa. The next day, they awaken to find themselves trapped in a terrifying makeshift basement hospital along with a Japanese man. An older German man identifies himself as a retired surgeon specialized in separating Siamese twins. However, his three "patients" are not about to be separated but joined together in a horrific operation. He plans to be the first person to connect people via their gastric systems. By doing so, he plans to bring to life his sick lifetime fantasy, the human centipede.
Review: I have noticed that every once in awhile there is a film that is discovered that creates a buzz because the film has very shocking or disturbing content. Well this of course is one of those films and has gained a cult status like that of Cannibal Holocaust or Faces of Death. The film starts out like any typical horror film and has 2 girls who breakdown in the middle of nowhere and they travel to the nearest house that they find ,but that is where the horror cliche ends and the ultimate stomach turning plot begins. I don't want to give off too much ,but basically the doctor connects 3 people together to make a human centipede and trust me if you have a weak stomach I suggest you stay away from this film. Now when it comes to the cast of this film I personally found them to be great especially Dieter Laser(Dr. Heiter), he played such a sadistic and creepy doctor that is a living example of pure evil. This film was very tense and had me on the edge of my seat at the same time with giving me an overwhelming sense of doom for all characters involved in the film. I think that for people who have a weak stomach once they get through the gore they will truly enjoy this film. I definitely can't wait for the second film because from what I have heard it is going to be more intense and more fucked up than this one. Overall this is a great film that truly did not let me down and left me wanting more!
