"Bloodsoaked- Sadistic Deeds...Grotesque Memories" Review
Review: Once again the one man death machine known as Bloodsoaked is back with another unholy masterpiece. After I heard his album Brutally Butchered a few years ago I was blown away that it was one man doing this music. Even though there is nothing new brought to the table with this album I still think he has mastered the art of death metal. I could hear all the bands that influenced him throughout the album, but of course he has taken those influences and made them into his own sound and style. One song that really sticks out to me is "Existence Denied" because it reminds me in ways of a slightly sped up version of "Slowly We Rot" by Obituary but with lyrics more like that of Morbid Angel. Even though i picked that track to talk about doesn't mean the rest wasn't just as bad ass. Trust me this album is filled with some of the best death metal songs I have heard in awhile including an awesome cover of the Obituary song "Gates To Hell". Overall this is honestly a bad ass album from one of the best death metal bands in the scene today!
