"Slaughtered Vomit Dolls" Review

Synopsis: What happens to a woman when she is abused by her parents, becomes a runaway at the tender age of 14, is molested by a local priest who takes her in and is then used and abused by nearly everyone she comes into contact with? For Angela Aberdeen the answer is to turn away from the human race and all earthly reality by making a sacred pact with Satan. After enlisting his protection in return for her eternal soul, her first act is to burn down the priest s church as he lays passed out drunk on the floor. She then flees to the city where she develops a horrible addiction to alcohol and drugs. Angela quickly spirals downward in her journal to Hell. Stripping turns to pornography and prostitution and as her deadly addictions tear her body apart, she realizes that even Satan has seemingly forsaken her.

Review: Since the first time I saw Eraserhead I have not been as mind fucked as I was watching this film. Being a person who hates vomiting and seeing people vomit it was hard to get through parts of this film, but that just helped add to my experience. At times this film seemed more like a demented music video and I say this due to the quick cuts and overall look of the film. Now this film does have a very realistic feel to it and I think that it's due to the candid footage of Ameara LaVey taken by the director during a good length of time. In between the shots of her you get some quite surreal spots of murder, gore, and ultra-violence. The gore is very well done and mixed with vomit makes it that much more better and disturbing. I must say that my initial reaction when I started watching this was that more of being unimpressed until I got further into this gore covered pathway to hell, as I got further into this film I really began to like it in a very twisted way. It may be hard for about 99% of people who view this film to understand but I really see this film as a demented masterpiece that pushes your mind over the edge and beyond. Now with all that said I must say I would highly recommend this film to anyone that is into the more extreme side of cinema, but I must say that if your not then honestly stay away because I don't think you will enjoy this at all. I can't wait to view the other 2 films in this trilogy! Before I forget I must add that this release of the film has a ton of special features that goes more in depth about this film as well as the "vomit gore"history!
