Review: This documentary is of course about the punk legend GG Allin who took music to the next level of extreme. Since I found out about GG Allin around 10 years ago I was intrigued by his lyrics and his overall personality and finally after watching this documentary I have a clearer sense of who GG Allin really was. This documentary is made in the typical sense of a documentary but unlike alot of them that I have seen this one truly had me glued to the screen the whole way through. I really found this documentary to show a more human side of GG Allin but at the same time showing his unique personality and appetite for self destruction. Now I must warn you that if you are going to watch this film you must be aware that they do show the insane antics of GG Allin including when he shits on the floor and eats it then throws it at the crowd. Overall this is an excellent documentary and I would recommend it to anyone into music or just anyone who wants to see something from the normal and trust me GG Allin is far from the normal!
